I completed this yesterday - a painting of Grazer and her cubs, also known as bear 128 at Katmai National Park in Alaska. Painted with Derwent Inktense pencils on watercolour paper. This was a short interlude between commissions, much needed as I find working on other people's choices quite stifling creatively if done for too long. I'm now refreshed and ready to tackle the next pet portrait!

Gorgeous! I'm also a Grazer fan and loved watching her with her first cubs. I've been looking for pictures of Grazer for a wooden art project my husband is going to do for me and was delighted to stumble across this painting in the middle of my search.
