700th Post & a Giveaway!

Who remembers this little guy?  Well, in celebration of the 700th post on this blog, he is up for grabs in a giveaway.  All you have to do is leave a comment and please become a follower* as I am beginning to feel a bit of a Billy-No-Mates as my total is going down not up! (Was it something I said? )  I'll pick a random number next Sunday to draw a winner - anyone from anywhere is welcome to join in.

*you don't have to become a follower if you don't want to!

Do you remember this?  The damage done to my poor little car by some careless idiot in a 4x4 who left the scene of the accident and who the police cannot/will not find?  Well, I never felt the same about driving this since, as if it has a big ol' target painted on it now saying 'hit me'.  So I have been looking for a replacement for the past couple of months and yesterday I think I fell in love.....but you'll have to wait until Wednesday to see my new wheels and I bet you will laugh your socks off at my choice!

On the arts & crafts side of things, I have been asked to knit a jointed pig and cow to go with cat for an animated film.  Tricky isn't the word but if I manage to fulfill the brief, they will be the cutest of the cute. And I am painting something totally out of my comfort zone for a commission.....

Good luck with the new commissions. It's good to stretch yourself once in a while.

Sorry I don't do "following" as I'm a luddite. I keep up with people by adding them to my sidebar stalk list- you are added there. If that is any consolation, maybe other people are like me?

Hi Caroline. I am a follower. =) I've enjoyed watching all of your creations come to life. The wave painting looked really nice with the frame. Did you sell it? I am rearranging my bedroom and when I have your bunny hanging I will send you a pic. Take care.

Hi Lora,
No, I sold nothing at the exhibition & discovered it was only on for one and a half days which is probably why. Never mind! Looking forward to seeing your painting framed & hung!

Hi, I've been following for a while, and I love the way you show your work in progress.
Like the waves one. I remember when you started it an did not know what was missing, until you knew exactly what it was, and now it looks wonderful hanging from a wall.
And I love those knitted creatures you make. They are all very cute.

You have been busy as always. :-) I am not quite there with 700 posts. LOL I am already a follower and I still am.... Good luck with the new car and shame about the exhibition. 1 1/2 days is really not long enough. It usually takes 3 days for people to remember that it's there... :-( xoxo

Me please, I'd like to be in with a chance to win the lovely knitted bird. Blue tits are one of my favourite birds. I'm already a follower (found you ages ago via Beads By Laura), in fact I'm sure I'm a follower twice but I disappeared and had to add myself again when I realised I wasn't getting your updates (it wasn't me, honest!)

Look forward to seeing the replacement car and the new painting.
